Malaga, Spain, was originally founded by the Phoenicians in the sixth century BC, so it's a city with a rich and varied history.
None of which interested me at all as Liz and I walked from the cruise liner terminal where we were docked for the day into town along this fantastic futuristic walkway.
Looking up gave me this view comprised of intersecting geometrical roof features, picked out in dazzling white against a deep blue sky.
The stark angularity of the architecture, combined with the simple colour palette and well defined shadow and highlight detail all add together to make this image work.
