More iconic Paris landmarks! Funnily enough, I've never been inside the Louvre. When in Paris, I seem to spend all my time looking at the architecture rather than what's inside.
The Louvre courtyard, with it's surreal blend of traditional stone facades, glass pyramids, fountains and relecting pools is a visual treat. It's easy, as a photographer, to get sensory overload in such a place and you have to stay disciplined to search out the best compositions and lighting, rather than just blast away!
I particularly like this composition that excludes most of the grand scene, and just concentrates on the curious juxtaposition of the ancient and modern.
