At the northernmost tip of Llyn Padarn, one of the most visited lakes in Snowdonia, lies the outflow of the Afon Rhythallt, passing under this lovely old stone arch bridge.
Normally I'll sit on the bridge enjoying the view south along the lake to Dolbadarn Castle and to the peaks of the Snowdon range in the distance, but on this occasion I had a bit of an explore around the bridge itself and found this old moored rowing boat, perfectly placed to act as foreground interest for this image.
A bit of bending of the knees and twirling of the polarising filter yielded a very pleasing composition on a rare sunny afternoon amongst the mountains of North Wales.
