Surely one of the most photographed views in Snowdonia, this is Llyn Mymbyr at sunset, looking west towards the peaks of the Snodwon horseshoe ridge.
I've photographed here in all types of weather, and you'd think I would have exhausted the possibilitites for new views by now - but by no means.
The combination of late evening sun grazing the lower slopes of Moel Siabod with golden light, together with the clouds and mountains reflecting in the still-ish waters of the lake, punctuated by a scattering of foreground rocks was just wonderful on this particular evening.
So well worth the effort of taking yet another photo of this famous view.
