Snowdonia's Llyn Cranfant is justly described as one of the most beautiful lakes in Wales.
Liz and I often come here to walk around the lake and enjoy a cup of coffee at the waterside cafe, and this photo was taken on one such occasion, as we approached the northern end of the lake after having walked all the way round along with our daughter and her family.
Conditions were absolutely still and the trees on the far bank were reflecting their subtle autumn colours perfectly in the quiet waters below, so while everyone else carried on to the cars I stopped for a few minutes to take this photo.
Just a lovely peaceful scene that left me feeling better just by pausing to look at it for a while.
