The story behind this image

Snowdonia's Llyn Cranfant is justly described as one of the most beautiful lakes in Wales.

Liz and I often come here to walk around the lake and enjoy a cup of coffee at the waterside cafe, and this photo was taken on one such occasion, from the far end of the lake looking towards the coast.

Of course, the actual subject of this image is the beautifully shaped cumulus cloud, which floated majestically over the lake until it was perfectly placed sitting in the cup formed by the surrounding hills.

One of the those magic fleeting moments that, through the medium of photography, can be enjoyed forever. (Relatively speaking!)
