Described by Natural Resources Wales as one of the finest views in North Wales, (and who am I to argue!) this is the stunningly beautiful Llyn Crafnant in the Snowdonia National Park.
Autumn is my favourite time to visit here, as the steeply wooded slopes surrounding the lake put on their colourful display of golds, yellows, oranges and browns, reflecting is the sometimes calm surface of the waters.
The view down the length of the lake leads the eye to the Carneddau range of mountain peaks which form a dramatic backdrop to the scene.
The walk around the lake takes in some other lovely views, and very importantly, a tea shop as well, and my wife Liz and I often spend a happy and relaxed few hours here strolling gently along the paths.
Why not treat yourself to a visit here as well, and find out first hand what I'm talking about.
