A hidden gem on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, this is the beach at Llanddona on the eastern side of the island.
Accessed down a steep and winding single track road, not many people make the effort to get here, and the huge sandy beach is sparsely populated, even in the middle of the summer holidays which is when my wife Liz and I visited during a brief easing of Coronavirus lockdown restrictions in Wales.
It was wonderful to kick off our shoes and paddle through the shallow waters as the tide slowly came in around our ankles, and this image conveys just a hint of the loveliness that this part of the world has to offer.
Just don't all come at once!
