The beach at Talacre is a wonderful place, with ever changing contours in the sand it never looks the same twice.
The best time to visit to photograph the reflections of the deserted lighthouse is after a high tide has filled the dips in the beach and then receded to leave large areas of still waters.
Such was the case on this winter's afternoon, and with the low sun picking out the sand ripples and sidelighting the lighthouse it was a perfect time for viewing and photgraphing the scene.
I think the lighthouse could use a fresh coat of paint however!
