This is one of my favourite spots anywhere in the world.
The tip of Penmon Point, on the far eastern corner of Anglesey, could almost be in another world it's so quiet and peaceful.
Sunrise or sunset is the nicest time to be here, as the breeze dies away and all you can hear is the sussurant hiss of gentle waves on pebbles and the mournful cry of a lone gull as it wheels overhead.
Photographically speaking it's the lighthouse that's the main attraction, but really, photography comes a poor second to the experience of actually being here.
