What I love about the coast is that it's never the same twice.
I've taken umpteen photos here at Penmon Point on Anglesey, it's one of my default 'go to' locations and never fails to deliver something special, no matter what the weather or season.
On this particular occasion I was treated to a beautiful calm morning with the tide in just the right state to let me take this minimalist view of the lighthouse and its reflection. There was a fair amount of haze around due to the high pressure system which normally I don't like, but on this occasion the lack of a distinct horizon and the blending and mellowing of the early morning light served only to enhance the mood of serene calm that pervaded that morning.
Add in the mournful cry of a few circling gulls and the sussurant hiss of the sea kissing the rocks with not another soul around and you'll get an appreciation of the atmosphere I was enjoying that special morning in a favourite place.
