For this image of Lough Graney I constructed a stitched panoramic of seven photos covering close to 180º of view.
Certain views just lend themselves naturally to this format, and this was one such vista.
Taking the initial photos involved strict camera and tripod discipline, with everything levelled and all exposure controls fixed in manual, set to correctly expose the brightest part of the scene.
I think the Lough and clouds work really well as a panoramic, with the shore details at either side providing a necessary buffer to stop the eye wandering out of the frame.
