Another stitched panoramic from the Emerald Isle, this time showing the view over Lough Derg in the Shannon area near Limerick.
My wife Liz and I were on our annual pilgrimage to visit our family (our granddaughter Mia is mega cute) and take in some of the local scenery, which is stunning when it's not raining!
According to our map this was the highest point we could get to overlooking the Lough, which was confirmed by the presence of a telecoms station sitting picturesquely at one side of the view.
These images were photographed mid afternoon in less than perfect light, and it was my plan to come back at sunset and repeat these shots in the golden light of evening.
However, it was not to be, as a couple of hours later the clouds rolled in and the drizzle started - game over for this type of photography I'm afraid.
I'm glad I took the photos I did although the light was less than ideal. Otherwise I would have had nothing at all to remind me of this fantastic place.
