The story behind this image

Staying for a few days in the medieval village of Castellaro Laguesello, just to the south of Lake Garda in northern Italy, gave my wife Liz and I ample opportunity to walk around this delightful UNESCO World Hertigate Site.

One of the most visually arresting aspects of the village was the gate tower, an imposing structure to say the least!
