While staying at Lake Como in the Italian mountains for a couple of weeks' holiday, my wife Liz and I took the opportunity to have a look at the many towns that dotted the lake shore.
A drive to the opposite side of the lake from our apartment at Verenna took us through the little town of Laglio.
We didn't stop long here, as the day was passing away and we still had a long way to go.
Just long enough, however, to snap this lovely little boat moored just offshore and sparkling in the afternoon sun.
