While staying at Lake Como in the Italian mountains for a couple of weeks' holiday, my wife Liz and I took the opportunity to have a look at the many towns that dotted the lake shore.
Right at the northern end of Lake Como is the town of Gravedona.
Although quite a tourist hotspot, Gravedona still retains an air of quiet gentility, and Liz and I enjoyed a couple of lovely evenings here.
This image, taken during twilight, is one of the hundreds of still images I tokk that evening to make my Lake Como Timelapse #13 video, but this frame made a good picutre in its own right.

Lens - 24-105mm zoom @ 25mm
Exposure - 2 secs @ f4, ISO100
Filters - 2 stop neutral density graduated filter used to balance the exposure between the sky and water.
Location - Gravedona, Lake Como, Italy
Conversion - Adobe Lightroom
Comments - Tripod, mirror lockup and cable release used to prevent camera movement.
