A week's stay in the west of Ireland found my wife Liz and I re-visiting some of our favourite places along the Wild Atlantic Way coastal drive.
Remembering holidays from years ago, we decided to spend a day exploring old haunts around the beautiful Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry.
With its high mountains and dramatic coastline, the Dingle Peninsula is a sensory treat under any conditions, and we were especially blessed with mixed weather, both sunshine and clouds in equal measure, which made for some great photographic opportunities.
Such as this panoramic view overlooking the secluded bay at Clogher Strand, with cliffs and mountains receding into the background.
It's a shame that a mere photograph can't easily convey the sounds, feel and smell of this wonderful place.
