Penmon Point, on the south-eastern tip of Anglesey just off the North Wales coast, is a sensory feast for anyone who makes the trek to visit here.
It's not your typical tourist destination, but with an accessible lighthouse, great geology and old stone walls it's a great place to spend a morning photograpghing and generally enjoying the peace and quiet.
On this particular morning I'd finished photographing the lighthouse and was wandering around taking in the scenery, watching dolphins playing just off shore and various seabirds diving for food, when I came across this charming little tableau of a cottage framed by an opening in the ancient stone wall.
The 'Private' sign added just a hint of whimsy to the scene, so I couldn't resist this one more photo before turning back to my car for the drive to work.
