High in the hills near Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, lies the Gwydyr Forest Park.
This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and well worth a diversion off the main raods to explore some of its hidden gems.
This view is a case in point, being accessed up a steep, winding single track road leading to the wonderfully named Llyn Bodbynydd.
Well worth a little risky driving to see the woods laid out in their autumn splendour.
