Living close to the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales is such a blessing, as an hour's drive gets us to scenery like this.
This is a view out over the Gwydyr Forest near Betws-y-Coed, resplendant in autumn colours under muted lighting from the solid cloud cover above.
In the background there's the majestic peak of Moel Siabod just scraping the cloudbase, which completes the scene very nicely indeed.
What an amazingly wonderful place. (When it's not raining that is!)

Filters - Polarising filter used to reduce glare and enhance colours. 2 stop neutral density filter used to reduce the relative brightness of the sky.
