In North Wales, where I live, the weather can be highly unpredictable, and quite often doesn't match the forecast!
I had set off in glorious light to photograph some grand scenics around Llangollen. However, it wasn't long before the clouds rolled in and killed the light I was hoping for.
At times like these it pays to search out details rather than grand scenics, as flat diffuse lighting can bring out much more detail and colour saturation than bright sunlight.
Such was the case here, in this old graveyard, just a few steps away from where I was originally going to photograph.
