When off on holiday in foreign climes my wife Liz and I always make a point of exploring away from the usual tourist areas, which is why we found ourselves in the small town of Tejeda in the volcanic uplands of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands.
Strolling around the backstreets I came across this colourful green shuttered window, set into a honey coloured stone wall.
Such a lovely, simple visual arrangement, I couldn't pass by without taking this photo.

Comments - Raised ISO used to allow handheld exposure with image stabilisation..
