During our visit to the home of Claude Monet at Giverny, Normandy, Liz and I took a stroll along the banks of the rivet Epte, waters from which Monet had had diverted to irrigate his fabulous water gardens.
The river itself provided some lovely scenery of its own, which, of course, I photographed.
Monet must have liked the river also, featuring it in his famous painting 'The River Epte at Giverny'.
