I was looking for a fresh angle to photograph the Eiffel Tower from when I saw this reflection, caused by a faulty fountain spraying water on the pavement.
The Eiffel Tower was lit up with sparkling lights at the time, which, due to the long exposure, have fully illuminated this iconic landmark against a twilight sky. Blurry fountains, lit from beneath, compliment the balance of light and dark in the composition and lead the eye to the tower itself.
