After a couple of days enjoying the beauty of the Gower Peninsula on the South Wales coast, my wife Liz and I were bracing ourselves for the long drive back home to North Wales.
But we couldn't leave the area without a diversion to the Ceredigion coast at Llangrannog, to spend a couple of hours walking the lovely beach and headlands of this gem of a spot.
Plus, the weather was extremely nice after a few days of mixed rain and sun, so a final dose of rays was not to be missed.
Llangrannog was at its finest in the bright sunshine, so I took plenty of photos as we walked around.
But I wasn't just interested in sun, sea and sand, as there were plenty of interesting seaside details to enjoy looking at and photographing as well.
Such as these lovely pink flowers, peeping over a cottage garden wall as we strolled along one of the narrow lanes behind the promenade.
