I'm no botanist or gardener I'm afraid, so I don't have a name for these flowers that bloom in late summer in my garden. Perhaps you can enlighten me?
Anyhow, I rarely photograph more than one flower at once, being more interested in the close up detail than in arrangements.
However, in this case I was smitten by the way the two flowers seemed to be dancing with each other in some sort of balletic pirouette, with the uppermost flower leaping gracefully over its partner.
The white flowers showed up very well against the dark background, which I threw out of focus with a wide aperture and later rendered completely black.
