This shot was taken overlooking the Conway estuary one evening in September. My wife Liz and I had pulled into one of our favourite parking spots to drink a takeaway coffee when an impromtu fireworks display started up across the river.
This is my favourite shot out of many taken that night. I like the shape, size and colours of the mortar burst better than the rockets that preceded it.
It just goes to show that you should always carry your camera kit with you. You never know what might be about to happen!
