Early July and on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, just off the North Wales coast, the heather is coming into bloom.
One of the best places to see (and smell) this natural explosion of colour is on the cliffs at South Stack, which is where I took this picture of the blooming heather, set against another North Wales countryside feature - a drystone wall.
The combination of line, form, colour and texture was just too good to pass by!
