Recently rebuilt after having been partially destroyed in the winter storms of 2013, this Edwardian beach shelter now sits proudly back in its place on the promenade at Deganwy on the North Wales coast.
More often that not I'll be actually sitting in the shelter while filming sunsets out over the estuary of the river Conwy as it empties into the Irish Sea, but on this occasion, with the late spring afternoon sun casting a golden glow over the coastline, I decided to make the shelter itself the subject of my photographic endeavours.
The shelter now sits on the freshly restored concrete of the promenade, and I got close with a wide angles lens close up to emphasise the angular lines of the shelter set against the blue of the sky overhead.
Just another lovely day on the North Wales coast, with always something new to see and enjoy.
