During our week long stay in Croatia in the summer of 2019 my wife Liz and I spent most of our time driving around in our hire car checking out the scenery in this beautiful country.
As we explored the back roads and places where tourists don't usually go we came across a number of abandoned and crumbling buildings, some quite grand like this derelict manor house, left to the elements.
With no fences or health and safety warnings to stop me (I love Croatia!) I was free to explore the house and grounds, camera in hand, capturing the faded grandeur of this once beautiful building.
I wonder what stories it could tell if only it could talk?
