The first day of our holiday in Croatia, and my wife Liz was immediately off to a hen party somewhere in Spilt, leaving me free to wander around, camera in hand taking in the sights, sounds and smells of this rather charming town on the Adriatic coast.
I soon arrived at the large harbour and promenade area and after a good look around I decided that shooting a panoramic view of the entire waterfront was the best way to represent the scene in front of me.
So I took a dozen or so hand held overlapping frames, sweeping from left to right and relying on the wizardry of Adobe Lightroom to compensate for any slight misalignments my not using a tripod would cause.
I was really pleased with the outcome, and this panoramic collage reminds me nicely of our first day in Croatia.
