The first day of our holiday in Croatia, and my wife Liz was immediately off to a hen party somewhere in Spilt, leaving me free to wander around, camera in hand taking in the sights, sounds and smells of this rather charming town on the Adriatic coast.
I soon arrived at the large harbour with lots of boats and small craft moored alongside and some quite ornate and picturesque buildings lining the promenade.
After having shot numerous images of boats I turned my attention to this fountain, located right at the end of the prom.
It was one of those fountains that cycled though a variety of different water jet configuartions, so I waited until the highest jet pattern kicked in before taking this photo.
