According to our travel guide, the Krka National Park was one of the must see places in Croatia, so my wife Liz and I set aside a day to spend there during our week long holiday.
Following a boat ride into the park, we were soon strolling around, taking in the lovely scenery along with a few thousand other locals and tourists.
It was a very hot day, so we weren't surprised to find the Krka river below the Skradinski Buk waterfalls full of families enjoying the cooling waters in the shallows.
We didn't indulge in a dip at that point, as there was much more to explore during our stay, but we did end up under a refreshing waterfall at the end of our hike around the park.
A really lovely place, and I would happily go back, but maybe when it isn't so hot and crowded.
