During our week long stay in Croatia in the summer of 2019 my wife Liz and I set aside a day to explore the beautiful Krka National Park.
The drive up there took us through the Croatian countryside, past houses, farms and fields including this abandoned, derelict old cottage.
I've a thing for photographing ruined buildings, of which there were quite a few in the back country of Croatia, so I spent a few minutes looking around and taking photos.
There's something about an abandoned building that's very evocative - I wonder what this particular homestead could tell us of Croatia's history?
