The coronavirus lockdown of Spring 2020 gave my wife Liz and I the opportunity to more fully explore the semi-rural countryside around our home in Buckley, North Wales.
For me, Spring is one of the best times of the year, with fresh new growth and flowers adorning the paths, hedgerows and gardens, and what better way to see all this beauty close up is to take a walk, camera in hand of course.
Of course, one of the most prevalent of the plants you see at this time of year in the hedgerows is Cow Parsley, and I photographed this patch in the shade of an old oak tree just at the side of the path.
Easy to miss as you walk along, but utterly beautiful when you stop to look more closely.
