The island of Anglesey, just off the North Wales coast, is a fantastically diverse environment with a particularly spectacular and attractive coastline.
This photograph was taken at Cemlyn, an RSPB sanctuary on the north coast of the island which is a beautiful desolate place with a lovely crescent shaped shingle beach.
Being north facing, Cemlyn is a great place to see both sunrise and sunset during the summer months which is what I was doing when I took this photo shortly after sunrise very early one August morning.
Anglesey has a plethora of old abandoned falling down buildings which make great focal points for images, and I took quite a few photos of this particular wall while the light was good, varying the composition to include more or less of the wonderfully sculpted foreground rocks.
This shot was my favourite of the bunch.
