Just to the north of Dungarvan on the south west coast of Ireland, in County Waterford, lie the optimistically named Comeragh Mountains.
I say 'optimistically named', because these mountains are more like rolling hills and moorland than the more pointy topography I usually associate with the term 'mountains'!
Even so, this area was lovely to drive around and Liz and I spent a few hours diversion away from the coast following the Comeragh Drive, taking in some great countryside views.
This panorama is pretty typical of what we saw, and although there's nothing much dramatic going on there's a great sense of calm and restfulness in the overlapping folds of the landscape.
I also made a time lapse video of clouds passing the Comeragh Mountains which you can watch by following the link.
