High upon the coastal ridge behind the walled town of Conway, North Wales, lies a fantastic coastal path accessed from the Sychnant Pass.
Walking this path with my wife Liz one evening we paused by this overlook which takes in the caravan park at Penmaenmawr, nestled between the A55 expressway and the beach.
In the middle ground is the Conwy estuary and beyond that lies Llandudno with it's encompassing limestone monolith of the Great Orme.
It's hard to describe in a mere photo the immense feeling of peace and closeness to God that we experienced that evening, with the light, sound and scents all combining together in a wonderful sensory symphony.
Needless to say we ended up walking back to the car in the dark!
