Climbing up the slopes of Moel Famau, my local hill, late one afternoon I was treated to this wonderful display of sunlight and cloud over the Vale of Clywd.
This area acts as a magnet for active weather, with its mountain ranges and proximity to the sea, and more often than not I'll get a good soaking on my walking and photo excursions on the hills.
However, a little dampness is a small price to pay to see such atmospheric antics, and I love it when I get to see the edge of weather, with the clouds and sun mixing it up overhead while golden light spills across the landscape below.
Just wonderful!
