Climber #2

Climber and rock

The story behind this image

This is a friend of mine who's an avid outdoors type, and this shot was taken as we were enjoying a day's climbing and hiking in Snowdonia.

The rock he's posing on is actually overhanging a seriously deep gorge close to Llyn Ogwen, for those who know the area.

What I like about this photo is the complimentary angles of rock and legs, and the backlighting that gives a defined edge to my friend's head and arms.
