A sense of scale, a sense of place.
This photo taken from the top of the Dachstein glacier, in Austria, and shows a tiny figure in a grand landscape.
Images such as these remind me of just how small we are when compared to the grandness of God's creation. But I'm comforted by the knowledge that, although we may be small and vulnerable, we are the apple of God's eye, made in His image and loved by Him extravagantly.
It's just that every now and then I need to realise that in the grand scheme of things I'm maybe not as big as sometimes I think I am!
