Backed by golden cliffs that glow in the light of the setting sun, the west facing beach at Church Bay on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, just off the North Wales coast, is a must see location for outdoor photographers such as myself.
Not only do you get lovely cliffs, but the beach itself is dotted with multi-coloured rocks and tidal pools which get renweded by the tide twice a day.
The only problem you might face in your quest for a lovely image is footprints, but time your visit to catch the tide going out at sunset, as I did on this occasion, and you should be able to find a pristine section of rippled sand and standing water to include as foreground interest in your composition.
But don't spend all your time here photographing.
Liz and I always take a barefoot stroll along the shoreline, as we have done since we were married all those years ago, with happy memories of a truly timeless place.
