Where to go on a drizzly day in Normandy?
Fortunately there are many, many churches, cathedrals and other public buildings available to visit when the weather's not playing ball, such as the imposing cathedral at Evreux.
While not particularly photogenic from the outside, the inside of the cathedral is full of interesting architectural features, nicely lit with both natural window light and candles.
This combination of red curtain and stone arch caught my eye as Liz and I were walking round, and I was glad of the low light capabilities of my little Nikon that allowed me to get this hand held image at the high ISO of 1600.
