This Christmas rose lives on the windowsill in our kitchen and provides us with a beautiful display of flowers a couple of times a year.
I especially like the way the central stamen and stigma stick so far out from the main body of the flower.
This particular example was photographed in natural light against a black card background which helps to emphasise the vivid colours.
