There are a variety of great viewpoints from which to see and photograph the dramatic Edwardian castle at Conway, on the North Wales coast, but this one, standing on the banks of the river Conwy at the RSBB bird sanctuary, seems to be largely overlooked.
Never mind though, as this is a favourite spot of ours to go for a coffee and to watch the birds feeding the the mud.
Being here at dusk added a certain mystery, as the lit castle and surrounding town were reflecting nicely in the mud and water bwetween me at the scene.
I only managed to take a couple of exposures before the light balance changed, the sky became black and the moment passed.
