Taken from the Llandudno Junction side of the river Conwy at low tide, this image shows Conway castle and the quayside on the far side of the river.
The tide was at low ebb, so there wasn't much water about, but even so the wet mud proved a highly attractive reflective surface, picking up the bright lights of Conway and filling the frame of this photo with colour.
Converting the original RAW file to tungsten white balance gave the best combination of warm and cool colours across the composition, and a tight horizontal crop removed an unpleasant foreground and dull sky.
