I've got plenty of normal photos of Notre Dame, Paris, in my image library, and maybe I'll add a couple to this website in the future.
This photo, however, is just a small section of the arch above the main entrance door, and to me it is more interesting than the usual shot that takes in as much of the catherdral as possible.
When photographing in cities I'm always on the lookout for the detail within a larger scene that somehow captures the essence of the place.
