My wife Liz and I were walking up the Watkin Path on the southern slopes of Snowdon when we came across a group of canoeists who were bravely tackling the white water rapids on the river that flows along the path.
I scrambled down the bank to the river's edge to get a series of shots of them going over waterfalls and such.
Although this picture wasn't the most dramatic action photo I took at the time it's become my favourite due partly to the colour and composition, but mostly due to the look of sheer terror and determination on the face of the canoeist!
