The medieval walled town of Caernarfon on the North Wales coast is the local epicentre for all things artistic and cultural.
But even so my wife Liz and I were surprised to learn of a rather unusual outdoor exhibition taking place in August of 2019, when the main street through the old town was adorned with a range of colourful umbrellas, suspended from wires over Palace Street.
So of course, we had to spend an afternoon exploring the views and photographing the umbrellas from a variety of angles, using the famous castle as a backdrop for some of the images.
