Standing on the seafront at Broad Haven, looking west out over St Brides Bay on the Pembrokeshire coast as the last of the dusk twilight paints a glowing orange stripe along the horizon.
Out to sea, the lights of a dozen or so ships twinkle in the darkness as they wait to enter Milford Haven to the south, while overhead the broken clouds behind a passing cold front pass by in stately procession, reflecting in the sea below.
It's bitterly cold in the late autumn onshore breeze, but the scene before me is so beautiful that I just can't tear myself away without taking just one more photo, playing with exposure times to get just the right amount of texture on the surface of the waters below me.
Eventually I pack up as the last of the twilight colour fades away and night draws a curtain over the beautiful and dramatic Pembrokeshire coast once again.
Good job there's the Ocean Cafe and restaurant just across the road for something hot to eat!
